“Retirement is not a destination but a journey” – No truer words said!
During our working lives, we dream of our golden retirement years and how it will be, be it travelling, just sitting peacefully and enjoying life, etc… Retirement is not a destination, but the start of another journey through life, which can be filled with many new and exciting opportunities,joy and happiness, but only if we choose to do so. Unfortunately, retirement has it’s challenges too. We often reach it unprepared and it doesn’t quite fit the expectations we may have had, when in our forties.During our retirement, we may for example:
- Feel ‘lost’, alone or lonely.
- Feel unproductive.
- Feel there is no longer any meaning or purpose to life.
- Have negative beliefs about ourselves.
As your coach, I will motivate and encourage you, as you make the best choices for yourself.

About Debbie
My life long passion for helping and supporting people in need, took direction in 2017, after attending life coaching sessions myself. I identified my purpose, set goals and “Seize Your Vision” was founded in 2018.
My speciality lies in coaching retirees and families of the elderly. I empower seniors to improve their mindset, enrich their lives (creating joy, tapping into their dreams and desires, etc.) and to find meaning and purpose in the autumn or winter of their lives.
Families with elderly parents are empowered to find the solutions within themselves to deal with the physical, emotional and psychological changes brought about through the aging process of their beloved parents. I have personally been through this with my much loved parents and fully understand the difficulties and anguish that families can go through… It’s very hard.
I am passionate and committed to my clients of all ages. I will provide you with tools and techniques to confidently deal with your challenges, to push past emotional barriers and to see your life in a more positive and meaningful way.
